Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled D365 F&O Technical Consultant/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge and experience with D365 F&O, supporting implementations, customizations, and integrations to meet client needs. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and developers to deliver robust solutions that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Develop customizations, extensions, and integrations in D365 F&O using Visual Studio and other related technologies.
- Configure and deploy D365 F&O solutions, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Implement data migration strategies, including data mapping and data validation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality, integrations, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance during all project phases, from requirement gathering to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, and customizations.
- Participate in system testing and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
- Collaborate with the functional team to align technical solutions with business processes.
- Stay updated on D365 F&O updates, tools, and new features, and provide technical insight to optimize business processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in D365 F&O technical consulting and/or development.
- Proficiency in X++, .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
- Experience with D365 F&O integrations using REST, SOAP, OData, and custom services.
- Strong understanding of finance and supply chain modules within D365 F&O.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and project tracking.
- Knowledge of data migration tools such as DMF and familiarity with Data management module.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Azure services and cloud-based environments.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Previous consulting experience and working with offshore/onshore teams.
